The story behind the painting's title.  I began this painting when the Stones first announced they would be playing at the 2019 Jazz Fest, and I had an art booth at the Fest.

That performance, of course, was cancelled, because of Mick Jagger's heart operation. I then stopped work on the painting. Hence the title:    "You Can't Always Get What You Want."  But, I brough the unfinished painting to the booth anyway, and continue to work on it there. It attracted much more attention then I ever possibly anticipated!  Very gratefully, I sold the unfinished original, at the Fest, almost immediately.  I finished it, and now it’s in the hands of its new owner.
